SCXW189903400\">Alkalische Hydrolyse (Aquamatie, Watercrematie) <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW189903400\">\u00a0is een methode van definitieve beschikking die beschikbaar is voor zowel onze menselijke als onze huisdieren geliefden. Een combinatie van zachte waterstroming, temperatuur en alkaliteit wordt gebruikt om de afbraak van organisch materiaal te versnellen. <\/span>\u00a0De ontleding die plaatsvindt bij alkalische hydrolyse is dezelfde als die optreedt tijdens begrafenis, alleen dramatisch versneld door de chemicali\u00ebn. Het afvalwater is steriel en bevat zouten, suikers, aminozuren en peptiden. Er blijft geen weefsel en geen DNA over nadat het proces is voltooid. Het lichaam wordt ondergedompeld in een oplossing van ongeveer 95 procent water en 5 procent alkali - meestal natriumhydroxide of kaliumhydroxide. De vloeistof wordt verwarmd en onder hoge druk gezet om koken te voorkomen, waardoor het lichaam zijn eiwitten en vetten afbreekt. De ontbinding cre\u00ebert een koffiekleurige vloeistof, die aminozuren, peptiden, suikers en zouten bevat. Die vloeistof wordt weggespoeld, en behandeld zoals elk ander type afvalwater. Alleen botten en metaal blijven over.
